Malaysia's Office

Production Planning & Costing Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare of monthly, quarterly, annual sales, gross margin analysis including purchasing & manufacturing costs, variance analysis;
  • Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of production activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labour and Overheads expenses acquiring;
  • Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost;
  • Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures;
  • Making estimates of new and proposed product costs;
  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services;
  • Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports;
  • Maintaining Cost Accounting System;
  • Conducts physical inventories and Coordinate the Cycle Count and Annual Physical count processes and the reconciliation of the results;
  • Reconciles all type of inventories;
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross margin analysis, including purchasing and manufacturing costs variance analysis;
  • Margin review and analysis, and productivity improvement follow-up;
  • Ensure a monthly review of each production shifts profitability and results with the production and management team;
  • Assist in preparation of budget for the business unit, for example, analyze expenses/spend, improves budgets in support of labor, overhead, capital, headcount;
  • Sales, and inter-company transactions, monitor actual versus budget variances on a monthly basis, and analyze trends;
  • Assist to complete monthly management report reviews - Review, reconcile, and verify accuracy of system values for work-in-process and finished goods to sub ledger detail through variance analysis;
  • Assist in asset and liability account reconciliation;
  • Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and expenses to predict future revenues and expenses to support monthly forecasts;
  • Make recommendations for financial and/or financial reporting system structure changes as necessary.

Requirements:

  • LCCI, Diploma in Accounting / Finance management, Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Quantity Surveyor;
  • Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience, preferably from manufacturing environment;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Accounting principles and statutory requirements;
  • Required skill(s): Familiar with Autocount/Microsoft AX accounting software, MS Word, MS Excel;
  • Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles;
  • Experience working with manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is added an advantage;
  • Good analytical skill, initiative, organised, meticulous, detail-oriented and result-oriented;
  • Able to deliver under pressure and tight deadline;
  • Able to work in Gelang Patah.

QAQC Inspector

Responsibilities:

  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.

QAQC Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programmed and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications;
  • Lead and support Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
  • Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work;
  • Assisting Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer such as steel reinforcement checking same as in construction drawing;
  • Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials;
  • Waterproofing checking underground level and in wet areas in the building;
  • Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test;
  • Finishing work checking in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, block, plaster, painting, tiling, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, ceiling and light fittings;
  • Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements;
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements;
  • Must follow and understand OSP QMS program;
  • Direct audit activities commensurate to production schedules;
  • Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources;
  • Develop monthly reports showing inspection and audit performance and improvement opportunities;
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement;
  • Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following set standards;
  • Maintain working production component’s knowledge and associate next tier application;
  • Involve in team driven actions to help improvements;
  • Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and documents;
  • Develop and maintain QA programs complementary to enterprise quality system, corporate objectives and policies;
  • Supervise and review corrective solutions and prevent action claims;
  • Interpret quality control system to people within organization;
  • Develop new methods to resolve problems occurring during QA activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, any field;
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah;
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent;
  • Full-Time position(s) available;
